Argyll Life

www.argylllife.co.uk

Argyll Life is a new interactive magazine for the Argyll area.

For the design of this site we used a Content Management System (CMS) to allow the site to be easily updated by its owner, comprising of an online directory, photo album and what's on guide.

The advantage of the CMS system is that add on's can easily be added to the site to allow a variety of facilities to the user.

Scottish Review of Books

www.scottishreviewofbooks.org

Now on its 21st issue Scottish Review of Books is a quarterly magazine published in the Saturday Herald.

This is a subscription based site that allows subscribers to register and pay their subscription via either by Paypal or NOCHEX and gain instant access to the 'paid' area of the site.

The editor's blog and all articles can be commented on by users of the site allowing user interaction.

The owners of this site wanted us to handle the day to day running of the site - which of course we were pleased to do.

Christopher Harvie MSP

www.chrisharvie.co.uk

This is a site that is again based on a CMS system allowing the user to add articles to the site as it is constantly maintained.

Of course we provided full training to use the CMS and are only ever a phone call away!

Comprising of various sections and including an RSS feed from Holyrood to keep the reader up to date. Another feature the owners wanted is the events calendar.

The Pier Guest House and Bistro

www.thepieratkilmun.co.uk

This is a website we created for a local guest house and bistro, the owners were keen to bring their website bang up to date and offer customers online booking.

The booking system we introduced requires no monthly or annual subscriptions and is simple for the website user to select and book rooms.

We also provided the photography and virtual tours of guest rooms to give the user a full view of the room they are booking.

Forthcoming events and current menus were added and are now constantly updated to improve the user experience.

Argyll Publishing

www.argyllbookstore.co.uk

We have worked with Argyll Publishing for many years now, the current site is a full online shop site which is maintained by its owner.

The site allows user registration with multiple payment processors and allows the user to track orders and be kept up to date with latest releases.

The 'Featured Titles' area promotes latest books, and a reviews section allows readers to provide reviews that are published on the site.
